A couple of weeks ago I had to prepare a talk for the preaching group I'm part of in my church. It was my first talk/sermon ever, and it was on James 1:19-27. It's great advice on how to relate to people around us (two ears and one mouth and all that) but it also relates greatly into accepting the Word (ie God's Word) that has been planted in us. It's a challenging bit of the Bible, but brilliant.
definitely. i'm going through james at the moment, it's definitely striking some chords. sort of lays down the rules does our james.
