question

I've just finished a beast of a post about last weekend, but before I publish it I want to ask you all something:

What would you do if you checked my blog one day and read that I'd jacked the whole thing in, I'd walked away and I wasn't a Christian anymore?

What would you do? What comments would you leave if I ever published that?

I wouldn't be surprised. Seems like you're type of christianity is the sort that flutters on the edge of dissipating simply because it comes so close to the truth. Which is an amazing thing.

I would be heartbroken for you. I would be asking God what He thought He was up to and would do what I hope someone would do for me if I was in your position... try and drag you kicking and screaming back to the truth. Back to the Saviour. Back to life.

I honestly don't know what I'd say, I'd be hurt for you knowing that you'd given up something that is true. I'd be praying hard, and I am praying for you. Keep striving Fi, even through the hard times. See you soon in Guildford ;).

i would pray for you and trust that God's grace is irresitable and that would bring you back. Becuase, after all, we can't earn or gain our christianity. it is there as a free gift. Which means we have nothing to prove to ourselves, to God or anyone else...
